Located at 8264 Northlake Blvd.
West Palm Beach, Florida

Cypress Boardwalk Trail is one of the easiest trails as you walk on an elevated wooded boardwalk. The Nature Center was closed for renovationGrassy Waters Entry Sign on the day I visited.  Make sure to pick up your information booklets as Grassy Waters has several different trails to choose from. Restrooms and water fountains are available in the parking area.

Grassy Waters offer several free field trips for children K-12. You can choose canoe, kayak and walking tours. The boardwalk makes it very accessible to anyone in wheelchairs and is shaded by tall trees which makes it comfortable for everyone.   Along the way, you will find plenty of chickee-huts with benches and chairs where you can sit and take in the view and relax. You can walk at your own speed and look for different birds and even alligators in some areas. I visited around noon time in the middle of July so the heat may be the reason I did not see much wildlife, perhaps next visit will be early morning in the fall or winter. But it’s a great way to spend an hour!
