Thinking how long it’s been since we last visited (about 10 years ago), it was time for another visit to the Morikami Museum and Garden. Spring in South Florida is without a doubt the best time for anyplace outdoors, with cooler and dryer weather, Morikami Museum and Garden sounded like the perfect place on this day.
This is such a beautiful, peaceful, serene place to soothe the senses and calm the mind. Taking a gentle stroll around the garden on a gorgeous day brings so much joy to the soul. It’s a great place to bring family and friends. Young children love exploring the trail and there are multiple places to sit and relax and take in the fabulous views, listen to the soothing sounds of the several waterfalls. Morikami Museum and Garden is also an amazing venue for weddings and special events. Museum and gift shop has a fabulous assortment of gifts for all ages and if you have time, stop by Cornell Cafe for an indoor/outdoor dining experience.
