Lake Worth Street Painting Festival Feb. 25-26 2017
Streets of downtown Lake Worth are transformed every year with beautiful, colorful and vibrant work of arts. Award-winning artists from all over the country as well as several local artists participate in this 2-day event showcasing their talents using only chalks. Truly a labor of love, they take their time creating remarkable and inspiring pieces. This year you can meet 3-D street painting artist and muralist Tracy Lee Stum with her new book The Art of Chalk. Tracy will be on hand signing her book at the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County Saturday and Sunday at the Bruce Webber Gallery. Because of how popular 3D has become and people really appreciates this art form and love to see it, this year, there are 40 3D participating artists at the Street Painting Festival. And all these paintings are only temporary as the streets of downtown Lake Worth return to normal traffic on Monday morning.
