West Palm Beach Holiday Tree Lighting Sand Sculptures 2014
Everyone is invited Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014 at WPB Clematis by Night to watch the lighting of the Holiday sand tree “Sandi”. This is an amazing 35-foot tall, 600-ton sand sculpture that will be showcased with synchronized sound and light show.
This is West Palm Beach’s 3rd annual Holiday Tree Lighting event on the WPB Waterfront featuring different sand sculptures every year.
Last time to see the sand sculpture is New Year’s Eve, Wednesday, December 31, 2014.
Beside the largest sand sculpture, you can also view four 25-foot sand sculptures located on the Waterfront (Sandi Land). Although much smaller, they are very whimsical with tropical themes and kids will probably love these even more. Plenty of photo opportunities and fun for the entire family.
If you cannot make it to the show on the first night, Sandi’s synchronized sound-and-light shows will also take place nightly throughout the month of December from 6:30 to 9:30 pm on the quarter hour.
Dec. 4: Come enjoy FREE concert by national recording artists Ryan Cabrera and J.T. Hodges with opening by The Motowners. The free event runs from 6 to 10 p.m.
Dec. 4: Enjoy a nine-hole round of mini golf with family and friends for $2.50. Peppermint Putt-Putt course set up near Sandi sculpture on the Waterfront. Running from Dec. 4 to Dec. 30 from 10 am to 9 pm daily.
Dec. 5: New this year, visit Snowieville where you can make your very own lifesize snowman, make memories and capture all the fun on camera.
Dec. 18: Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey will return to Clematis by Night for a free 30-minute preview of their annual holiday show, which will take place Dec. 23-28 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.
All Sand & Sea-Sun Greetings events are free and open to the public.
Thanks to all the organizers, this year is expecting to be one of the very best Holiday Season. So come with family and friends this Christmas season to enjoy all that West Palm Beach has to offer. We may not have snow….but we have Sand and Sea!
